Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Susan's love of nature and the natural world began as a youth. Taking in the beauty of the forests, pastures, grasslands, beaches and mountains inspired her artistic leanings. Susan's art captures the spirit and life that reside within all life's creatures and the environment through bold, colorful expression. Painting mostly in acrylic, her pet portraits and landscape paintings nourish your soul, evoke joy, and leave you feeling uplifted and peaceful!
Susan's works have been featured in the annual Santa Barbara, California Sullivan Goss 100 Grand Exhibit, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. In addition, they have been auctioned at various local, out of state and international not-for-profit organizations and educational institutions, including Amistad International, ASAP (Animal Shelter Assistance Program), the Environmental Defense Center, Return to Freedom American Wild Horse Sanctuary, the Breast Cancer Resource Center, AeroMedico, and the Dream Foundation.
